Welcome to Leintwardine School Nursery

We are delighted to welcome you to Leintwardine School Nursery, where we provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children from the age of 2. As a governor-led nursery, we are proud to offer children a positive and exciting start to their learning journey.

Our nursery is incredibly fortunate to have a dedicated and experienced team of qualified staff, led by qualified teachers and supported by nursery practitioners with NVQ Level 2, 3 and 4 qualifications. Our staff work closely with children and families to build strong, positive relationships from the very beginning.

We believe that children learn best when they are given the freedom to explore, create, investigate and use their imaginations. Our environment encourages children to develop their independence, confidence and curiosity through a balance of adult-led experiences and child-initiated play, both indoors and outdoors.

We are particularly lucky to have such wonderful outdoor spaces. Our large school site includes beautiful fields, playgrounds and climbing equipment, as well as the Jubilee Field, our dedicated outdoor education area, which is just a short walk from school. These spaces provide children with fantastic opportunities to explore nature, develop physical skills and learn through first-hand experiences.

We offer parent-funded places as well as funded places for children who are eligible for NEF (National Education Funding). We can provide 15 and 30-hour funded places, alongside additional private hours where required.
