The Christmas Pudding Mix Up was started in 2007 by Brampton Bryan Womens Institute - The secret recipe was donated by Norma Dark and remains a well-kept secret.  When the WI became unable to run the event in 2018 we felt that this was an important Community event that we wanted to keep alive. We felt that it was important to involve the younger generations in this local tradition.  Each year as the event approaches our 'Friends Committee recruit a team or weighers, graters, choppers, shoppers and of course stirrers. 

The Lion at Leintwardine and The Riverside at Aymmesty both put the pudding on their Christmas menu, we are happy to supply them with the special mix.

The event is held on the closest Saturday to Mix up Sunday and a Christmas Fair is held in the school hall.
