Work at the Criftins play park
The Eco Committee have been busy looking at the play park on the Criftins and the rubbish that has been left there. After going to look at the park, the committee decided that a litter pick would be a good idea. At the beginning of December, we set off in our wellies, coats and plastic gloves with bin bags and litter pickers. We collected a variety of litter including plastic bottles and crisp packets. The older children thought that it would be a good idea to write to the Council to ask for a recycling bin due to the amount of plastic bottles found. We are in the process of doing this. In the New Year, we will continue with the project and the children will design posters to be put up in the play park.
