Friday 3rd April 2020. First ask someone at home to test you on your spellings, then you can mark them using the original list. Then complete Autumn Term Workout 12 from your KS2 English 10 Minute Workout.
WEEK BEGINNING 30th March 2020. I have had a request for Spellings. I will put Spellings for the week on here. There will be the list of words and all of the tasks for the week ahead (usually 3)...then parents, you will need to run a Test at the end of the week. There will be Year 5 and Year 6 spellings so make sure you do the right list! We have a few more weeks working our way through Year 5 and 6 statutory word lists and then we will return to 'rule' based spellings. Enjoy!
Thursday 2nd April 2020. English. Today's task is to create a crossword puzzle about 'Seas and Oceans of the World'.The document below talks you through what to do. Have a go...if you find it too tricky then create a Quiz or a Word Search with the same title. CORRECT SPELLING IS VITAL...Also make sure that you have finished all spelling tasks.
Wednesday 1st April 2020...No work today! Just joking...April Fools Day! In English today we are going deep, deep under the ocean. We will finish by writing some poetry, oh and don't forget to do a Spelling Task too.

Tuesday 31st March 2020. Maths...Using Negative Numbers in Context. Separate Year 5 and 6 work...3 levels of difficulty in each so choose wisely please.
Thursday 26th March Maths...Rounding Tasks. Two Year 5 and one Year 6 but each download has 3 different levels of difficulty so pick which is best for you. If it's tricky drop back a level until you are confident that you know what you are doing. If you have time, look on the internet for Rounding Games to play.
Tuesday 24th March. Watch the video on next page of yesterday's PowerPoint and complete the box sorting exercise on the next page. Then complete the task below. Finally read The Trade, The Factory and The Shop ready for tomorrow's work.
Monday 23rd March Maths...Remember the more stars (at bottom of sheet) the harder the task. Pick the best level for you. Try Finding Fractions of Whole Numbers Sheet if Fair Trade Fractions are tricky.
