Pumas

Welcome Back Pumas!

It is great to be back in school following the Christmas break. We are still trying to follow recommendations regarding ventilation to limit the spread of Covid19. We have an air quality monitor in our classroom which warns us when to open the doors to let in more fresh air! The windows are open all of the time, regardless of the weather so it is really important that Pumas wear lots of layers under their uniform. We are also allowing gilets, hats and scarves with some pupils choosing to bring a light blanket to go around their legs.

We have also welcomed Miss Cornes who will be working with us on Wednesday mornings, taking over from Mrs Milward who is on maternity leave AND Mr Mansfield who works with the Year 5 children on a Tuesday morning. This extra staffing on a Tuesday is allowing us to target year group specific gaps that we have identified. It is also allowing me to implement some revision for the Year 6 pupils as we move towards SAT week.
