Our value of the month is - Compassion

Welcome Back Pumas!

It is great to be back and to welcome the Year 5s to the class. We have also been lucky enough to welcome two new faces into Year 5/6 to join the staffing team. Firstly Mrs Waters who is a Teaching Assistant, and new to the school, and secondly Mrs Webster is now also working in our class.

Back to Normality (hopefully)

Settling into the Autumn Term, we have all got our fingers crossed that this will be a 'normal' school year and that we can finally reintroduce the parts of the school day that were put on hold during COVID 19 restrictions.  We are now able to have Assemblies again and we are even allowed to sing! Hopefully sporting fixtures will resume before long and we will be able to catch-up on the Year 6s Transition to High School Programme. We are in the process of adding exciting things to the calendar and we will keep you posted. I am hoping that we can arrange a trip sometime during the Autumn Term to Blists Hill to support our topic about The Victorians. The Panto Trip is all booked ('Oh no it isn't, Oh yes it is') AND we have provisionally booked our Residential Trip to Cardiff, which we really hope we will be able to do in May 2022. Watch this space - we will give more details of these three visits shortly and hopefully have some other treats up our sleeves before long.

Please take a look at the Class Newsletter below to find out what we will be learning about this term.
