We are currently working really hard in preparation for SAT WEEK starting Monday 14th May 2018. We have practised using past papers and our Maths and English lessons have covered everything that is needed. Everyone is in a great position to go into these tests feeling confident and able to do their absolute best. No one is allowed to panic...just show us what you can do!
SATs WEEK BREAKFAST
Don't forget that Mrs Gorry will have her apron on every morning from 8.30 , cooking sausage and bacon baps for all. What a great idea! It will mean that everyone is ready for action each morning.
SATs WEEK EARLY NIGHTS
Please ensure that pupils have a restful weekend so that they are fresh and ready to go on Monday morning. Early nights are also essential throughout the week so that everyone can perform at their very best.
Another first for Leintwardine Primary School...the Year 6 children had a Yoga session led by Nicola Bradbury to teach them some relaxation techniques ahead of SATs Week. Please find her special SAT PREP SEQUENCE posted below. The chance to lie down and 'just breathe' was appreciated by all, as well as learning 'Swans' and 'Downward Dogs'... thank you Nicola!

PE with Mr Rix
We are currently having our Thursday afternoon PE lesson delivered by Mr Rix. We are learning Cricket skills and playing games and are really enjoying these sessions.
LIFE AFTER SATs...
Our topic for the second half of the Summer term is a Local History Study where we will be finding out about the amazing history around our local castles. We will visit Wigmore Castle and hopefully Brampton Bryan, finding out about the intriguing and far reaching historic events that happened right on our doorstep...
